Emily Strobl is the Director of Product Design for AI Chat + Voice and Design Systems at Rocket Mortgage in Detroit, Michigan. Previously she worked as a product designer at General Motors.
I’m a product design leader, builder, and believer in the power of systems. At Rocket, I lead the AI Chat & Voice and Design System teams, where we’re designing the future of how people interact with AI and creating the frameworks that make our products smarter, faster, more consistent, and more beautiful.
I care deeply about design quality, collaboration, and culture - helping teams connect big ideas to the small details that make a product feel alive. I’m still very much a doer at heart and love rolling up my sleeves to shape both the vision and the pixels.
I lead the teams shaping Rocket’s next generation of digital experiences.
Our AI Chat & Voice team drives the strategy and design behind our AI-powered chat and voice products, creating seamless, human-centered experiences that connect clients to the right answers and actions through intelligent automation.
Our Design System team creates the foundation that powers consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all Rocket products and platforms. We bridge design and development through reusable components, clear guidelines, and shared best practices, building a future-ready system designed to evolve with AI.
I previously led our Storefronts team, focusing on transforming our top-of-funnel nurturing and growth-focused experiences within Rocket’s digital storefronts, landing pages and marketing activations.
